ok maybe not just val's day. gonna start with thursday.

THURSDAY:
nth interesting happened at sch.
zacq wanted to have his last supper with us at 919 tht night, but i couldnt go cos i was busy watching a rather amusing 2 hour BLACK AND WHITE version of Julius Caesar at st joe. who knew elizabethian english would be so funny hahaha.. shaun (as in teo ee shang) was in the movie as some annoying guy who kept speaking up while mark antony delivered his speech during caesar's funeral. AND who knew such sarcasm existed in the 16th century lol

MARK ANTONY: Would you rather live as slaves while caesar lived, or lived free men with caesar alive?
SHAUN-LIKE-GUY: NOH!!! (in that annoying sarcastic style that sherman does hee hee)

you gotta watch the movie to understand it but the way they speak (sometimes they speak to themselves) is simply hilarious.

oh yea and them secret catacoumbs at st joe really do exist. we walked through them to reach the tv room and it was more high-tech than expected lol.

ok after the movie and sending sherman home, i went to airport starbucks for .. coffee with zacq? yea.. liz, erika, oliver, tim, ken and bak were there... we camwhored awhile (ok fine zacq camwhored around us) and i kissed zacq teehee!

ok after tht, zacq sent tim and oliver home then picked up owen. (liz and erika went home by themselves) after picking up some st joe interact club valentine's day service thing (ESTHER AND NAZERENE GOT ROSES FRM ST JOE O.O) we went to 101's bing's and talked abt ragnarok lol. gt home at midnight. talked to zacq on phone til 2.10. ZACQ WHY DID I ONLY KNOW YOU FOR A WEEK?? :( :( :(

FRIDAY:
since our sch didnt have to ganti on saturday, val's day was kinda celebrated on friday at our sch. first commotion of the day was adrenne's 99 roses frm a certain st joe gangster :O :O. then in the afternoon andy finally plucked up the courage to try to reconcile with yvonne and gave her a valentine gift. the whole sch was watching and supporting him :O :O but when he got there yvonne was in the toilet... HAHAHA potong steam...

then like almost immediately after tht antony woon (a timid quiet guy) gave a rose to the extremely popular van-van BUT SHE REJECTED HIM SOOOO BAD!!! :@ :@ but the whole sch pushed her to take it so she reluctantly did.. woo, woon nearly sia soi :O

then after sch zacq did smth special for a certain someone whose initial is also Z heh. then i stayed with zazq and bak at sch till 615.. singing all our favorite songs.. one last time :'(

i didnt go planetshakers cos i wanted to send zacq off but mommy don allow so i was stuck at mrs hon's feeling so sad .. :( . then he left. . . ...... .. . ... .. 3rd last person to see him =x . then talked with van and bak til the next morning.. feeling sad tht someone important to us has left.. damn.

SATURDAY:
ok lemme get this straight, I SPENT MY VALENTINE'S DAY WITH BAK NAM OK. IF U GT PROBLEM THEN u can call me and we can discuss it over bailey's and bakgua :)
bak woke up at 530 cos he thought it was friday.. and wished tht he could call zacq =\. he woke me up and we walked to tim's house.. at 7am? lol. bloody dick was sharing a smallish bed with kenn mmm and didnt wanna wake up until we opened the blinds in his room lol.

his parents drove us to sin chong choon cafe where we had breakfast then drove us back to his house cos bak forgot his phone -.-.

then we walked all the way back to green heights mall for expensive coffee and ice-cream.

then we (bak and i) walked to bak's hs to get my addmath notes (yea mine -.-) then we walked back to my hs to practice addmath and watch avatar heeeh. then we walked to tim's hs to get him and ken then walked back to greenheightsmall for another round of coffeebean and to get wayne. then bak's momma sent us to stampark to support lodge team.

on thurs night bak, liver and zacq bet with erika tht she cudnt sapu all gold but by the end of yesterday she had got all so far :| but according to what i just heard frm van she gt a silver SO HAH ERIKA NO HILTON, MERDEKA AND MAGENTA FOR YOU HAHAHAHAHAHHAAH boo.

happy valentine's day to all single ppl :) remember, being single and alone on valentine's day isn't the worst thing, being taken and alone is =\

On the 28th to the 31st October 2008, Focus on the Family held their annual No Apologies sex education talk at Lodge School. It was held at the school library, and was split into two sessions, with Group A consisting of the form 4 science classes while Group B consisting of form 4 arts class and the two year 10 classes from the international school.

DAY 1:

1st facilitator for our session was mr jerry. mr jerry asked us to pair up, and gave us two strings which we were supposed to get tied up with each other in. then we were supposed to escape the knot. unfortnately, despite having so many students who attended No Apologies before, only shanice and khang ngee could escape their knot... haha, we all sia soi. anyway, the exercise basically explained that while situations could get really sticky, there's always a way out. as long as you get help from the right people.

then, mr jerry let us watch a standard No Apologies video, which lasted half an hr. the video was BORING, and the only image that i can remember is this mexican guy who says sex is good -.- . after that, mr jerry had each of the groups come up with a quote they remember the best from the video, and my group came up with "CONDOM NO GOOD MAN", even tho it actually wasnt in the video hahaa

after the video mr jerry talked and talked of the risks of having sex etc and andy was bored, so he tested his photography skills with macro...

and i tested mine woo

then came break, and came mr charles! charles roxxor man man mann.. he's alvin cousin, and like our braader man.. cool guy. i cant remember much from charles' first talk.. abt healthy relationships. he kept giving us the good stuff on his 'good friend, kenny liong'.. haha

anyway, his activity was rather interesting. it showed that the five parts of the body, Intellectual, Social, Ethical, Physical and Emotional cannot survive without each other and are all playing an important part in keeping the physical and psychological balance in the human body. he had us lock hands and pulled us around like we were weaklings wtf

after charles, there was this gangster looking dude called wilson who gave his talk on media literacy. he explained that the media was very influential on the psychological aspect of students in particular as they often used sexually explicit images in advertisement and shows to arouse sexual desires etc etc etc...

kinda weird seeing that he himself brought him some eye candy :O

after wilson, this lady called jacqueline came in and gave us a talk on HIV/AIDS, and the generation at risk. for some reason, despite he stating clearly that every 1 in 5 people in AFRICA have HIV/AIDS, she seemed very insistant on us accepting the fact that every 1 in 5 lodgians had HIV/AIDS too wtf.

anyway, she gave us another sketch to perform. it showed us that while our anti-bodies (white blood cells) could protect us against common bacteria and viruses, once we're attacked by HIV, there's no turning back. there's no cure for HIV/AIDS, and an infected person is destined to die. andy took the lead role of 'my body', jordan took the role of 'white blood cells', while caleb, yuyang, timothy and peiyao took the roles of 'cough', 'fever', 'diarrhea', and 'HIV' respectively.

then came fever..

then came diarrhea!

while still celebrating, HIV suddenly attacked the body!

WBC put up a brave fight.. but after five minutes or so it was ultimately defeated... and all the sicknesses attacked My Body again!

somehow the table got involved... anyway, after his moment of table attraction, the sketch ended and jacqueline commented on andy's extraodrinary acting abilities.. and said that he'd get many many oppourtunities to become an actor if he were to live in kuala lumpur.. lol... then she continued abt the 1 in 5 HIV thing.. which made richard question her intelligence.. haha, end of day 1.

DAY 2:

1st facilitator of the day was some old looking young man called james.

he explained the consequences of premarital sex. our first activity with him was 'learning how to make teh tarik', as he put it. 20 students were selected to each take a cup, and their task was to pour the contents into each others' cups as many times as possible...

after a minute, kathryn came around with a mysterious 'magic powder' which she poured into everyone's cup.

these guys having a jolly good time laughing at andy's smartass cracks haha.. then the results were out.. 16/20 of the students had their cup contents change color, while the remaining four had no observable change in their solutions.. see cikgu felicia? i wrote OBSERVABLE!!

anyway, the color change is due to contamination, as two of the original 20 cups were actually vinegar, and the vinegar would react to the 'magic powder' haha lol. so the activity was compared to the spread of HIV, its so easily spread. so if you're not careful, you're almost bound to get it.

next up was the activity 'If pillows could talk', which basically showed the same thing as the vinegar-water activity. it showed that if you have sex with someone, you're as good as having sex with everyone that person ever had sex with, making u getting a higher probability rate of contracting an STD.

yea, this was the story... after that, james called shaun, nelson, effendi, andy and reuben to go up and blow balloons. shaun's buff physique enabled him to burst the balloon after blowing for just 2 seconds. he must really have some STRONG lungs man man.... then, james asked us whether we were really gonna trust our future in a condom, which was made from the same material as the balloon which shaun burst. if balloon can burst, why cant condoms?...

after james, this cute guy called douglas took over. he explained the main reason why we should abstain/practice abstinence: IT WORKS EVERY TIME.

douglas explained that there were three ways to say no to peer pressure; by stating it, selling it, or moving it. there were three sketches to show how to say no to peer pressure. first up, group 7 (yuyang, shanice, khang ngee, sherman, richard, mervyn, shichun) showed how to 'sell it' when being pressured to start smoking

doug remarked that he never knew senior prefects smoked o.o

yep, mervyn and richard sold it to avoid the problem.. but the 'untamed animals' began fighting amongst themselves.. as usual.. haha

next up was group 1 (aaron, adeline, alex, alyssa, amanda, alistair, alvin) who showed how to 'state it' when being pressured watch PORN

yep, alistair's horny and wants a piece of the action.. but aaron says "no!! mommy say cannot watch!!..."

then their mommy alyssa comes and calls us dirty bad boys.. damn

next up was group 2 (andy, ashley, bernard, benji, caleb, eric) with how to 'move it'. they showed how u say no to some 'good fun when the parents aren't home' by restating the problem..

andy wanted to 'get down and dirty' with all her male friends but they declined... and they diffused the situation by watching a movie.. wtf

we then played some weird pingpong-ball-blowing game

after that, we had some cut and paste activity.. before going off for lunch..

yup we needed to cut and paste him bk together.. wtf.

after lunch, charles was back for his second session and our last: marriage is important. i've been through exactly the same thing before so i was asleep for the best part of the talk, even though i was sitting right in front.. sorry charles..
